What is the Glorious Quran? |

The Glorious Quran is a record of the exact words revealed by Allah (God) through Gabriel (Angel) to Muhammad (peace be upon him), the final Prophet of God. It was memorized by Muhammad (peace be upon him) and then dictated to his companions, and written down by scribes, who crosschecked it during his lifetime. Not one word of its 114 Surahs, has been changed over the centuries, so that the Quran is in every detail the unique and miraculous text which was revealed to Muhammad (peace be upon him) fourteen centuries ago.
The Glorious Quran, the last revealed Word of God, is the prime source of every Muslim's faith and practice. It deals with all the subjects which concern human beings: wisdom, doctrine, worship, and law, but its basic theme is the relationship between God and His creatures. At the same time, it provides guidelines for a just society, proper human conduct and an equitable economic system.

In short, the Glorious Quran is the book of ultimate guidance that came to change the beliefs, behavior and outlook of all who are astray. It came to guide them to the true happiness and the way that one should follow in this life.

Who needs to study the Glorious Quran? |
|

Mankind
"O mankind, there has come to you a conclusive proof from your Lord, and We have sent down to you a clear light."
[An-Nisa 4:174]
--- a guidance for mankind and clear proofs for the guidance and the criterion (between right and wrong).
[Al-Baqara 2:185]
Here Allah praised the Quran, which He revealed as guidance for the hearts of those who believe in it and adhere to its commands. Allah said "and clear proofs" meaning, as clear and unambiguous signs and unequivocal proof for those who understand them. These proofs testify to the truth of the Quran, its guidance, the opposite of misguidance, and how it guides to the straight path, the opposite of the wrong path, and the distinction between the truth and falsehood, and the permissible and the prohibited.
There is nothing that protects human life, guarantees its safety, controls the desires and prevents their harms, preserves the nature except that it is found in the Quran (and Sunnah). The Quran (and Sunnah) leads to all that is good and its causes and protects mankind from all that is evil. They contain subtle regulations for body and soul, for the human reason, for individuals and groups, in this world and hereafter. Theirs are regulations that are compatible with sound human nature and useful thoughts, and are accepted by free minds and people of upright reasons. They cure all diseases, activate behaviours and regulate all affairs so that the life may be that tranquility, happiness and peace.
Muslims
A Muslim believes in the sacredness of the Speech of Allah, as well as its honour and virtue that surpasses the speech of all others. S/He also believes that the Glorious Quran is the Word of Allah, which no falsehood can approach, before it or behind it. Whoever speaks in accord with the Quran, has spoken the truth. Whoever judges according to it, has judged justly. Its devoted people are the people of Allah and His special people. Those who stick to it shall be successful and victorious. Those who turn away from it are the destroyed, the losers.
"O you who have believed, respond to Allah and to the Messenger when he calls you to that which gives you life. And know that Allah intervenes between a man and his heart and that to Him you will be gathered."

Non-Muslims
There is only one God, Allah, who alone is worthy of being worshipped.
Mankind has been guided at various times by the messengers of Allah of whom the most prominent were Noah, Abraham, Moses, Jesus and Muhammad - may peace and blessings of Allah be upon all of them. The final message was sent to the last Prophet, Muhammad (peace be upon him), which replaces all previous messages. None of the prophets claimed to be god or part-god - they were human and were obedient to Allah.
Islam is the universal message of Allah to all mankind and Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him) is the last and final messenger of Allah. Therefore, Allah will not accept any way of life except Islam. He said in the Glorious Quran which is translated as follows:
" And any one who chooses a way of life other than Islam, it will not be accepted from him and in the hereafter he will be one of the losers. "

How would tutoring class take place? |
|
|
After completion of registration and software installation process, the student will be associated with a well-versed Quran tutor for One-to-One live interactive classes.
The tutor and the student come online at an agreed upon time.
The telephony software (Skype) will enable them to speak to each other through the computer (just like a telephone conversation).
The screen sharing software (Gotomeeting) will enable them to see the same lesson on their computer screen. The tutor can highlight letters and words of Quranic Script to draw attention and enhance the understanding of the student.
